About Me:

- Urban Aesthetics began in late December 2010 after I was inspired to combine everything I’ve learned from my top influences that has shaped my life into my own space and my own voice. After learning and applying the ideas from posts from blogs such as The Style Blogger, Street Etiquette, and The Sartorialist, I was enlightened with a new identity that became perfectly authentic in due time. I started my own style revolution within a year and finally gathered enough confidence to speak for myself. Tumblr gave me the chance to make it all happen with its easy blogging availability and quickly brought nothing but positive success and opportunities on the table that were to die for. I can say confidently that this is only the beginning.

- Born Brooklyn native from the Dominican Republic, I know how it feels to have nothing. From being dirt poor deep in Dominican lowlands, to now gradually making a name for myself and my family to continue to better ourselves was what it was and continues to always be all about. It’s been in the violent streets of Brownsville, Brooklyn where I really experienced rock bottom and matured into the man I am today. I’ve been through it all here and being stuck in the hood as we speak continues to be my greatest motivation to become successful and live the rest of my life doing what I love. Fashion, Art and Basketball.

- Urban Aesthetics represents every driven man or woman, old or young in the hustle to become a successful under the most negative environments around. Please remember that my blog solely expresses my opinions of how I choose to represent myself in hopes to inspire others. This is me. This is my life. My style. And my journey from a lost Brooklyn hoodlum to a fashion blogger, amateur stylist, visual artist and freelance model.
